1125 LANALYZER FOR NETWARE
This self-paced course includes a student manual, quick reference
guide and a video entitled ╥Troubleshooting with the LANalyzer for
NetWare.╙
In addition to giving a thorough introduction to features and
benefits of LANalyzer, the course provides solid troubleshooting
information for Ethernet LANs and the NetWare protocols. Students
will learn to troubleshoot and solve network problems based on
frame errors such as CRC/alignment errors, short frames, long
frames and fragments. The course details the structure and
functionality of IPX, SPX, SAP, RIP and NCP and discusses methods
for troubleshooting based upon NetWare protocol information.
The course presents step-by-step instructions for tracking
baseline information, defining packet errors, finding the most
active users, setting alarm thresholds and so on.
The video demonstrates how the product may be used to create a
network performance baseline and then presents five
troubleshooting scenarios.
